A long time treasured tradition in my (Laura) family is that every grandchild of Meema's gets a teddy bear cake for their very first birthday. Of course, now that the grandchildren have extended into the greats.......we have to go get the bear. Meema can't just bring them any old place anymore. But, we were in the right place at the right time, and Nevaeh was able to receive her traditional first birthday teddy bear cake made just for her by Meema!

Mammy and Bubba held Nevaeh's hands while we sang "Happy Birthday" so she wouldn't light her finger on fire.
She had to pull her hand away from Mammy to make sure that Mammy knew she was now 1!

Happy to be loved! And this was as messy as she got.I guess then, that means she didn't dive in, she dabbled.
