Update on Daryl

Click the link above to view a copy of a newsletter that I found on the Civil Air Patrol Website.
Imagine my great delight when I saw Daryl as the main man in the first picture at the top of the newsletter under the leadership reaction course article. If you click on the plus sign at the top of the page, it will enlarge the letter as big as you please. Daryl is the guy kneeling on top of the wooden structure holding another board. His orange cap boasts his squadron number of 501. Enjoy!

Off To Basic!

These pictures were taken early morning just before Daryl left for basic encampment for the Civil Air Patrol. It is the same thing as basic training for the military and is run by the army drill sgts at Ft Indiantown Gap in Annville, PA. The difference is that it is only one week instead of six. Daryl will graduate on Saturday, June 26.
