Having someone to love is FAMILY. Having somewhere to go is HOME. Having both is a BLESSING.
We ARE SO BLESSED!

"NEVAEH" UPDATE

God gave us a definite answer to prayer today in spite of the fact that everything did not go as hoped. There is still much to get through and because of the sensitivity of the high profile involved, we cannot share details for now. Nevaeh is presently in our care and we anticipate being in her life forever. We are still desperately in need of your prayers. It is NOT our place to question God's authority in this, but our place to KEEP Nevaeh ever before Him and acknowledge that He is a Greater Power with something bigger going on than we could ever imagine! We love you and are grateful to have you as a part of our family as we live through this chapter of our lives.

Please Keep Us In Your Prayers!

As always, we have an interest in your continued prayers regarding Nevaeh's adoption case.
We feel the need in a special way this week.
Thank you, as always, for your sensitivity and concern and know that we appreciate your prayers in our behalf in a great way. Your support is overwhelming!

Nevaeh on Christmas morning!
She absolutely loves her little "panno" just like Mommy's!

I know that many of you have been watching and wondering what is going on. Well, we have been wondering too. We've been praying just as you have been praying, and it seems as if God is silent for now. So we have been living each day as if it were our last - full to overflowing with memory making and love shared. And we have been learning much about what "having faith" really means. God has placed us in this circumstance, and while He may seem silent for now, we are sure that He is close. Your faith is what you believe, not what you know. I believe in the sun even when it is not shining on my side of the cloud. I believe in love even when I am not feeling it. I believe in God even when He is silent. We live by a faith that has NEVER left us down. In my recent considerations regarding my faith, I came across an anonymous quote. It made me smile. "A little faith will bring your soul to heaven, but a lot of faith will bring heaven to your soul." Take the time to spell heaven backwards --- NEVAEH! I'm sure that the day will come when we stand back and look at what God was doing and say, "Wow!" Having hope in a never failing God is what keeps us going! I am so grateful for an awesome Christmas with those that I love most!
God has been so good to me!
